This handsome listing at 149 Willow Street in Brooklyn Heights just hit the market with a price tag of $1,250,000. We’re digging the prewar details and the abundance of windows in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom pad; we also like the unusual design of the prewar exterior. Our back-of-the-envelope square footage calculation comes out to around 1,200, which makes the monthly maintenance of $1,584 tolerable given that it’s an elevator building. What do you make of it?

  1. 11217, park slope in general is better value than BK Heights. but then we continue to see people pay bigger $$$ in that hood (along with Dumbo) than park slope,… diff story if you whipped out a Cobble Hill listing. that said, I too would lean toward your PS listing

  2. Cgar, I’m about to sell you my apartment.

I think the layout here is funky — two apartments combined I think. (I’ve been in this building and in units that are half the floor.) But wouldn’t it be nice to make dinner in that kitchen and eat next to that fireplace. Not sure why they don’t put their table there instead of a room over.

It seems expensive to me, but I don’t know. Is the market back?

    The location is fantastic.
