In addition to the great location, this brownstone apartment has tons of old-world charm, living and dining areas and its own private terrace. From the sliver we can see in one photo, it looks like the kitchen might only be of mediocre finish, but it’s hard to tell. Overall, lovely place though.

$525K for a studio with a terrace? Pass.
the only thing wrong here is the price. it’s a cute place — i’d move the sink to the dining room wall and create a big british-style unfitted EIK. If there’s a window in the current kitchen you could make an office or wee nursery. or big closet/laundry room.
at 400, it would be a buy. they’re hoping for 525. so .. something in the middle may work for everyone.
Half a narrow brownstone floor or less. 450 or so net square feet (20×50)/2 – stairwell + a terrace.
You can get a real 2-br in 245 henry with a doorman for less.
So you’re basically paying for that terrace?
That dining room set up made me laugh. The current owner should just knock out the wall (if possible) and create an open kitchen/dining room.
They’re banking on “charm” in selling this place.
I missed that too. Was too taken by the location and details. That’s why this blog is so great. So, how come no comments this weekend about the 6 months later sales?
I guess we know why there’s no floorplan. Is that a twin bed in the bedroom? This is looking more and more like a studio with a bed in a (windowed) closet.
I completely missed the appliances in the dining room the first time I looked. So misleading! How does it help the sale to have people discover this on entering the apartment? It’s a combo foyer/EIK/dining room.
UGH! a bedroom dresser in the dining area?! what the hell is wrong with people. i thought there was supposed to be classy people in brooklyn heights, guess not.
