This new listing at 155 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights is very charming indeed. The prewar co-op has beamed ceilings, original wood floors and nice light; the rooms sizes are decent too. The only obvious drawback of the $469,000 co-op appears to be that there’s not a separate kitchen, just a wall kitchenette. Nice place overall though, for sure.

  1. “Minard – That’s different. The whole kitchen is in the living room. This is more of a case of ‘whoops, the kitchen is so tiny, we had to stick the fridge in the next room, which happens to be your living room.'” (Snark)

Right. In those open plans (barf), it’s a design decision. Not here.

  3. I don’t know. It’s pretty much a $1000 a foot. I know it’s Brooklyn Heights, but for this place, that seems too high.

It’s a cute one-bedroom on a higher floor . . . . but it’s less than 5OO sq ft with a tiny kitchen for almost half a million. And how can they call that maintenance low for such a small place?

  4. “too close to the BQE”

Have you even been there? That’s the promenade. Probably the most expensive part of Brooklyn Heights. The closer you are the more expensive the real estate.
