This one-bedroom at 30 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn Heights just hit the market with an asking price of $650,000. The floor-through apartment has nice old fireplace and floors but the kitchen’s not going to get anyone’s heart rate up. Still, the other rooms are nicely proportioned and there’s a good amount of natural light. Fair deal?

Ensuite bathrooms only work when you have more than one.

Very true, dh. A subtle nuance that rob has yet to fully grasp.

I went back to look, I am really not getting the hate for the kitchen. What about it is so terrible? The paneled doors on the cabinets? The white appliances?

Sans vent? Sufficient size prep areas, though.

Bigish place, eh? Not sure what diPRIbs is smoking for lunch, but it’s 25×46 (1150 sq ft) less the stairwell, so prolly just under 1K. Which seems wacky…$psf wise.

Real nice pad for a childless couple.
