Co-op of the Day: 220 Columbia Heights, #5
This two-bedroom co-op at 220 Columbia Heights in Brooklyn Heights is crazy, as in crazy awesome! The woodwork, the plaster ceilings, the views, the massive roof garden, the oval foyer—they all rock. For an 1,800-square-foot apartment the monthly maintenance of $1,556 is quite reasonable. How about the asking price of $2,125,000? It’s got enough one-of-a-kind…

I’ll concede, ‘play kitchen’ was a gross overstatement, but still small. I have dreams of tons of counterspace…I love to cook and really really want to be able to work on 3 or four different dishes without having to stop and clean up/move things out of the way.
This place is the bomb.
Wow… DIBS – I am pretty sure you took my comment as a joke, but I think I hit a nerve with Nomi. Jaysus. Nomi must have a multi-million dollar pied-Ã -terre and feels guilty about not donating to the March of Dimes.
by the way, I just thought it odd that the bedroom that did *not* have the ensuite bathroom and was next to the kitchen and *not* adjacent to the amazing views was called the “master bedroom.” Again, hit a nerve?
Seems like marking them both as simply “bedroom” would suffice. Leave the status judgements up to the new owner.
“White appliances have nothing to do with it. It’s tiny. Actually, it’s smaller than my current rental kitchen. If I pay 2 mill, I want a larger, workable kitchen. Not a play kitchen. But I suppose that’s just me :-)”
OK, fair enough. I think it’s bigger than a play kitchen, but it’s not a large kitchen, true.
Bxgirl, Cargar is gonna change his phone number after today! LOL

I am calling Cgar this second.
I can’t believe you guys are complaining about the toaster. WTH? And what’s wrong with the kitchen? How is it not a 2 million dollar kitchen? Cause the stove is white??? Cause it’s kind of modest looking? It’s all high end.
Cause that other room is not the master bedroom, tybur6, that’s why they don’t call it the master bedroom.
Kneecaps broken, huh? How about if I said poor people should have their kneecaps broken, they’re a drain on society; that’s just my opinion?
Would that be acceptable?
