This ground-floor studio at 55 Eastern Parkway in Prospect Heights was on the market briefly last spring but has just popped up again with a new-and-improved asking price of $209,000. It ain’t huge, but is reasonably attractive, as is the monthly maintenance of $418. It seems like you could end up living here for an after-tax cost of not much more than $1,000. Good deal?

  1. caveat emptor. when i lived in the building next door, there was a serious mouse problem, and our super claimed it was an issue for the entire block. ew.

  2. Correct, the P*Shark link is always included with the CotD and HotD.

BUT…while I love P/S, I have found enough data feed errors on Property Shark to know not to trust it.

  3. Park Sloper, they are sold in IKEA in a few awesome variations. It’s very easy to install. Couple of screws, just make sure you hit the beam. Actually they are not even heavy so you can do without the beam.

  4. Nycdelisauce… I’m new to commenting so I hope I’m not asking something super obvious, but where does one go to find information about what the previous purchase prices were? Thanks!
