Co-op of the Day: 154 Bergen Street, #2
We’re not sure it’s quite worth $850,000, but this floor-through apartment at 154 Bergen Street in Boerum Hill sure is nice looking. What do you think it’ll end up going for?

> “a 3-unit co-op with no underlying mortgage”
I like the “no underlying mortgage” part, but not the “3-unit” part.
best looking thing about this is the pic of the agent. she looks cute.
It’s a real two-bedroom and it’s move-in ready. So it should go for ask. Except ask is nowhere near what such an apartment actually sells for. So….$750,000?
As for kitchen, they should have gone with a dish drawer instead of full dishwasher. Seems like they could use that space for storage instead.
They’d need to throw in a few hundred shares of Apple stock in addition to the Ipad.
My studio has a nicer kitchen than this.
Snappy and DeLepp, right about the stove. It looks like the 24″ Viking. They are highly over-rated.
When are realtors going to stop using the “chef’s ktichen” description of anything with stainless appliances???? I’m so tired of that. OK, it DOES have open shelves, but has any of these realtors ever seen a restaurant’s kitchen?
I can’t see how you could get financing for this.
A three or four unit co-op is just unstable. This should be a rental unit.
This apt came up on a recent thread, and I said then that it was way overpriced. Way way ovepriced. The living space and kitchen all together feels cramped (I will never like open or pullman kitchens). And where the heck are the upper cabinets in the kitchen area?? Bad reno. The bedrooms are decent though.
Perhaps they are throwing in a free Ipad with the purchase… 😉
In its defense, the maintenance is fantastic. If this started with a 6 it would sell in a weekend, but maybe they don’t need to sell it in a weekend.
