Co-op of the Day: 509 Court Street, #4K
While we’re not in love with the finishes in the bathroom and kitchen, this floor-through two-bedroom at 509 Court Street in Carroll Gardens has a nice feel to it. Priced at $599,000 with a $900 maintenance, the 1,015-square-foot co-op also seems reasonably priced. There’s an open house on Sunday if you wanna take a look….

Love everything except the stove. That master bedroom looks HUGE!
Uhm – I was just correcting you since you referred to it as a condo, which as you know a big difference.
Don’t really care if it is “below a brownstone”. That is too much of a generalization for me. There are a lot of crappy brownstones out there, in worst neighborhoods for much more money. So it really needs to be a specific comparison.

Not sure why Mr. B poo poos these types of kitchens and baths.
They’re contemporary, nice looking and are in keeping with the space.
The kitchen is nice and of all the GE Profile slide in ranges, this is my favorite. The one without the back; what ever you call that thing, where a clock and some knobs are. This type of range makes a wall look neater and cleaner.
I like this too!
it’s a good price, but the maintenance is steep – imo
I love it. Great layout.
And I LOVE Court Street.

Co-op DIBS. Co-op.
I like it too. What is CG like this far down?
I think this is one of the better condos we’ve seen in a long time. The layout is fantastic for 1,000 sq. ft…the kitchen looks nice and has stone counters and the bathroom looks well done as well.
Anything below $550,000 is a steal.
Too bad it’s such a long ride on the F to manhattan.
