Whoa! This 4,680-square-foot combo at 30 Main Street is pretty spectacular. Actually, the two 11th floor condos have yet to be combined–that’s up to the buyer to do. But whoever comes up with the combined asking price of $5,395,000 is going to be able to take in views of the Brooklyn Bridge from any one of the unit’s 34 windows. (You can also buy the G-line apartment on its ow for $2,900,000 or the F-line one for $2,250,000.) The asking price comes out to about $1,150 per foot, which seems to be about par for the course for the upper-floor apartments. (Lower floors are closer to $1,000 a foot.) Ah, to dream!

  1. “have yet to be combined”

They’re still two apts. Buyer has to combine. Throwing more $$ into the apts to renovate.
That floor plan is someones idea of how to combine the apts. Not the greatest of proposed layouts. Try again.

And that brown kitchen is barf worthy.

  2. In my dreams, I guess I’m a snob, because while I could look at that view all day long, I’m not sure I could deal with that counter choice for very long. Is it brown granite? for over 5 million? what!!!

  3. “These old industrial buildings are very comforting with their thick concrete floors and ceilings and huge windows.”

yeah – you’ll never have to hear your upstairs neighbors having sex again.

  4. ishtar: I don’t.

ML: I’ve been in the offices on that block (at 45 Main). Those are some really nice old buildings, and the view is really amazing.

The price and maintenance is pretty insane, but it’s sure pretty (except F’s floors seem way overshiny compared to G’s).
