The challenge may be finding a buyer who wants to pay $1,325,000 for a fourth-floor walk-up, albeit it a mighty nice one.

Bitchy is what I do, nyc99.
I haven’t had a cigarette in 2 weeks.
Is the kids not sleeping on same floor as parents an issue when there is a doorman?
would never sleep on another floor from kids – way too scary in an apt building where the entrance is on the kids floor. i say that mom+dad sleep on the main floor as does kid(s) and make upstairs the living room.
would divide out the main room with kitchen to be dining area and an office.
kind of ok, but seriously needs more storage. would add in cabinets and closets.
our building is a 5 story condo walk up, and tons of kids including on the the 3rd floor and the top 2 floors (4th and 5th story duplexes).
price is silly.
Is this the 3rd fl of a walk up? If so it’s not that bad then as far as walk-ups go.
Second, as far as people with kids not buying a walk up, total BS. My building had quite a lot of families with small children moving in and they had duplexes on the 2nd and 3rd floors. People with kids will buy a property they like and won’t mind walking up two flights of stairs to get home for 1,300 sq ft.
I would buy this place and “modernize” the lower flr – ie rip out the fireplace, moldings, etc then put them up for sale in a forum post here
Whoa, 11217, you really need to lighten up. Your comments are incredibly antagonistic and, may I say, bitchy. You are making it all very personal.
Do you really see any “inane banter” on this particular thread? I see nothing but comments on the pros and cons of the featured listing.
And don’t be so dismissive about what *you* perceive to be the purchasing power of the posters on this thread. You’d be surprised…
you know me!!
Hahaha DH! Trying to squeeze a few more posts out of this one, eh??
🙂
listing states the bldg has “stroller parking”
