I’m a little biased since I was jumped just on the other side of that schoolyard last summer, but you’re facing a school on a block that dead ends at the projects. If you like walking through the projects at night to get home, that’s cool. But it is not for me.
some of you have some SERIOUS poo mist issues.. which i can understand. i hate the thought of a gazillion bathrooms, but on the other hand, id rather have a bathroom dedicated to guests’ poo mist that i never have to go in. but then of course you need a maid, which is totally a whole notha can of worms. this kind of lifestyle would be too complicated for me.
*rob*
So my guest needs to use my bathroom, so what, I don’t think I have anything different than anyone else, what would be the big deal???
Besides, how often do people have guests, everyday? please, c’mon already…..

Exactly my point. I want to keep people like you out of my private bathroom. I don’t give a damn what you have. It’s MY bathroom!
oh and is this right next to the row of condos in mondrian colors that last i saw, still looked vacant and out of place?
honest question: is the current 407k widgy price even a good deal for this location and with those common charges?

I actually live on that block (I am not the owner of this apartment!).
It is a very nice block! Across the loft building there is a small and cute 6 brownstones row (where i live) and then there is also the Clinton Hill village — all populated by cool brooklyn residents and young families, which makes this block particularly nice.
This loft building has 100 families and we all kind of know each other on the block.
It is not a tree lined block but more like a city block with tall buildings.
Very peaceful – most of the time, and quiet.
It is indeed very close to the projects. But it doesn’t really bother us. The projects actually make it a no through street which help this last block of kent avenue to have almost no cars coming through beside the residents.
There are nicer blocks around but those lofts are great! Have been to a few of them since we have friends there. About the price? I am not sure but the block is definitely good. I live here for 2 years already!
Yeah, you’re right about that. No need for a tub in the 2nd bathroom.
Not to belabor the bathroom thing… but it’s a 1-bedroom! I can see having a pisser, but a full bathroom with a TUB?! If you have sleep over guests that need to shower — they’re either sleeping on your couch or spooning you. Either way, they haven’t crossed the ‘intimacy threshold’ to use your shower?!
