A couple of years after the owner bought Apartment 😯 from the developer, this corner two-bedroom at 110 Livingston Street just came up for resale with a price tag of $775,000. We light the combo of modern-but-prewar that the Two Trees conversions typically have, and this place is no exception. Given the size of almost 1,100 square feet, the impressive light and views and the modest common charges of $725, we can see this fetching close to ask. Agree?

I’m not sure how 1100 sq feet was calculated unless it’s including part of hall way, lobby and some air outside the windows. The width of apt is 27 feet, that means it would need to be 40 feet in length.
That being said you can entertain in a 15×15 space, but why would you pay $770K for that pleasure?
> We light the combo…
Spark it and pass it.
We’ll never beat the Romans, who built their entire social lives around bathing and crapping. Maybe social historians will look at our flight to privacy as the real story, not gentrification, but bunkerization.
I SO agree about the too small kdla – mcmansion sized bathrooms and master bedrooms in modest nyc apts drive me NUTS. But people (from the suburbs?) apparently buy based on ridiculous things like the size of bathrooms and bosch appliances. somehow the living space has become last on the list of priorities (or else the twenty gazillion new developments have somehow all gotten it wrong?) What will archaeologists/historians think of us in 100-200 years? “at this point in american history, bathing and taking a crap took on a role of central importance in the culture, as the size of the bathrooms can attest”
Could the Living Room Dining Room Kitchen area be any smaller. I just hate with a passion the open room concept, It is just shoving 2 rooms into 1. There really never is room for a regular kitchen table and chairs. Doesn’t anyone eat at a regular table any more???…and what about doing ‘things” that require a table……
I don’t like the windows either, and heaven forbid there is ever a window in the bathroom, which IMO is the room fresh air is really welcomed, because the exuast fans never work properly.
so much money……. what a sin!!!!
It has been a while since I have seen a listing well priced. This might just sell at ask.
how can this be 1100 square feet? is there another wing they’re not showing?

In defense of the hallway, this building is full of kids. And crap belonging to kids. And I suspect the people who buy this place will have a kid now or eventually and it’s amazing how much space strollers and scooters take up. It is awfully nice to be able to park all that inside your own place — I have kids and even I don’t love people who leave their strollers outside their doors — and still be able to open and close the closet doors.
Also, the roofdeck on this place is nice.
