This penthouse at 970 Kent Avenue in Clinton Hill has been on the market since June, when it debuted with an asking price of $875,000. Two reductions later, the 1,100 1,327-square-foot two bedroom is listed for $825,000. The apartment has a some things going for itbig windows, high ceilings and two outdoor spacesbut this feels like a lot of dough these days for this location. (There are five other units in the building currently available at lower prices.) The building also has some bad history, but we’re assuming the C of O issues have been worked out. Someone looking to drop this kind of dough on a loft in the neighborhood could probably get more bang for the buck at 105 Lexington Avenue where $730,000 gets you 1,340 square feet and $959,000 gets you 1,648 square feet.

“grammatically challenged writer,”
^^^^Biff, that hurt…I’ll never write another thing again!!!!!!!!!!!
“Re-write of BRG’s ad:”
on Biff’s behalf:
…..seeking man of fantasies!
Re-write of BRG’s ad:
Well-worn, cunnilingual, wall climbing, skating on thin ice, decliner, grammatically challenged writer, fartist, porcelain praying, maneater, and therapist seeker with a television and print backside and weak negotiation and research skills who loves to tread and enjoys all types of muzak, from evelvators to malls seeking man of her dreams.
“Variety is the spice of life”…Where did you hear that?
“I’ll take the liberty of re-writing the Best Righteous Girl’s profile with brevity:”
Well-traveled, multilingual, mountain climbing, ice skating, designer, writer, artist, radio playing, eater, and therapist with a television and print background and strong negotiation and research skills who loves to read and enjoys all types of music, from classicial and jazz to rock and hip hop, seeking JFK Jr. lookalike, half-wit, full of himself, dumb as a bulb Brooklyn Heights-based Brownstoner blogger with way too much time and other things on his hands.
Fouad looks drunk in the pic; almost the way you’d look if you were in some Malaysian strip club looking to pick up a nice Chinese girl.
omg biff, hilarious.
Let me sail, let me sail
Let the Orinoco Flow
Let me reach, let me beach
On the shores of Tripoli
Let me sail, let me sail
Let me crash upon your shore
Let me reach, let me beach
Far beyond the Yellow Sea
Sail away, sail away, sail away
Sail away, sail away, sail away
Sail away, sail away, sail away
Sail away, sail away, sail away
From Bissau to Palau
In the shade of Avalon
From Fiji to Tiree
And the Isles of Ebony
From Peru to Cebu
Feel the power of Babylon
From Bali to Cali
Far beneath the Coral Sea
Sail away, sail away, sail away
Sail away, sail away, sail away
Sail away, sail away, sail away
Sail away, sail away, sail away
From the North to the South
Ebudæ unto Khartoum
From the deep sea of clouds
To the island of the moon
Carry me on the waves to the land I’ve never been
Carry me on the waves to the lands I’ve never seen
We can sail, we can sail
With the Orinoco Flow
We can sail, we can sail (sail away, sail away)
We can steer, we can near
With Rob Dickins at the wheel
We can sigh, say goodbye
Ross and its dependency
We can sail, we can sail (sail away, sail away, sail away)
We can reach, we can beach
On the shores of Tripoli,
We can sail, we can sail (sail away, sail away, sail away)
From Bali to Cali
Far beneath the Coral Sea
We can sail, we can sail (sail away, sail away, sail away)
We can sail, we can sail (sail away, sail away, sail away)
Sail away, sail away, sail away
Sail away, sail away, sail away

Now, I don’t really care, but isn’t this technically Bed-Stuy. It is east of Classon. ALso, aren’t the lofts on Lexington in Bed-Stuy too. I realize that real estate brokers like to fudge the boundaries, but Brownstoner has traditionally been a stickler for these things.
