Condo of the Day: (Very) Shiny and New in PS
So you’re a developer turning an old brownstone in an upscale neighborhood like Park Slope into condos and you say to yourself, “I think I’ll put the ugliest, cheapest floors in possible!” Nice one, guys. 159 Garfield Place [Brooklyn Properties] GMAP

It’s the $99 vinyl windows that make it so enchanting.
Yuck! Looks like a former rental building where they just kicked out the tenants and called it a “condo”. There is a lot of that going on btwn 4th & 5th ave. The kitchens look like rental apt. kitchens circa 1990 and the floors look like vinyl in the pics. They are seriously overpriced.
what is with the 2 different types of cabinets in the kitchen of 3R. that’s bad. and the bathroom mirror/window issue is just laughable.
Could be right about the lens distortion – but if the case still crummy job by realtor and the converter
(those floors shine so bright I thought was vinyl.
i was just thinking that, surely those floors appear that way b/c of the camera and are not that badly pitched. heck, maybe they are though.
are you sure the floors are not uneven because of the use of a fish-eye lens to make the rooms look larger? realtors love those super wide-angle cameras but they always introduce distortions..
Perhaps realtor is bit embarrassed to show such a thing. Certainly very amatuerish job of converting (really should level those floors).
Propshark show very large sq ft property – so did they combine the 2 apts per floor and now huge space? Can’t tell from realtors site.
The prices are ridiculous merely because it’s Park Slope. I just moved OUT of Park Slope and I’m glad of it! People are suck suckers.
There is no way on earth they are getting those prices for condos that ugly. $300-400k maybe, but definately not $600k.
