condos
So you’re a developer turning an old brownstone in an upscale neighborhood like Park Slope into condos and you say to yourself, “I think I’ll put the ugliest, cheapest floors in possible!” Nice one, guys.

  1. My guess is that the floors look wonky on the large pic of 3R because the shooter stood in relatively the same spot, aimed toward the left side of the room and clicked then aimed toward the right side of the room and clicked.

Next step, photoshop and put the two images together. But each has a slightly different view and the horizontal lines in the floor look wonky when lined up with each other making it look like the floor is bowing in the middle.

Other reason I think it’s two images photoshopped together is because they obviously like using photoshop. Look at the bathroom image (unit 2L) in which you can see the window. The view outside the window is… of the same tile in the shower! Must have been some nasty view to copy and paste the ceramic shower tile.

  2. While the materials are certainly cheap, I think the coversion was pretty expensive. They waterproofed the rear and redid (very cheaply) parts of the facade. I also saw them pull out an undergound oil tank, which probably meant they put in a new boiler.

The apartments seem very narrow to me, and I know there is at least one family of four that are long-time residents. Don’t know if they bought their place, or are still renting. I’d guess they have a full floor, because a half floor would be a litle tight. I’m guessing the developer is selling 6 of 8 apartments. Let’s see how much he gets.

  3. Must have confused this property with a different property re lot depth. The more yard the better I guess. Do you think yard is used as a bldg amenity or is for sole use of ground unit(s)?
