It’s located on the third floor of 647 41st Street, a pale brick building that is one of a complex of six buildings constructed in 1926 by the Sun Garden Homes Association. Designed around a central courtyard, the buildings, with addresses from 637 to 661 41st Street, are entered via two arched entrances, each with “Sun Garden Homes” etched above the keystones.

With park views from the living room and bedroom, this unit does have a bit of that planned “garden home” vibe. The compact layout has a hallway at the center with kitchen and bath on one side and living room and bedroom on the other. The living room has original wall moldings, picture rails, wood floors and a set of French doors that open into the bedroom.

Built-in storage on one wall makes the most of the small bedroom, and the floor plan shows another small closet in the space along with three more closets in the hallway.
