Co-op of the Day: 25 Parade Place #3K
This newly listed one-bedroom at 25 Parade Place in Prospect Park South has a lovely prewar feel. This newly listed one-bedroom at 25 Parade Place in Prospect Park South has a lovely prewar feel. The renovated kitchen feels a little personality-less, but other than that the place is full of charm — and has big rooms to boot. The monthly maintenance is a manageable $612. The listing price of $425,000 seems like a lot for this side of the park to us but it doesn’t hurt to ask. UPDATE 1/22/13: The apartment has been relisted with Brooklyn Properties at the more realistic price of $395,000. The listing is here.
25 Parade Place #3K [Ideal Properties] GMAP P*Shark
Well, I guess that’s why it’s called an “asking price”. My girl and I went down to take a look. It’s pretty massive and the kitchen, floors, and pre war bits are really very nice. It’s amazing how many Anglo Saxons are now in that hood. Def. changing, we may be putting an offer in. I looked at property shark and the 2g unit was converted into a 2 bedroom, same square footage, and they sold for 440k it says. I’d like to ask the broker to take a look at the place, I wonder if they could wrangle it?
Same square footage, that second bedroom has to be SMALL, but they managed to get 440k.
Interesting, we’re def. considering making an offer. New hospital, new lake side environment, across from parade grounds and prospect park? I’m thinking all you yuppie park slope peeps are just a little jaded 😉
See ya at the park, we”ll be living across the stet from it!
