Co-op of the Day: 175 Eastern Parkway, #3C

We’ve always had a thing for this building at 175 Eastern Parkway, what with the grand lobby and the landscaped front yard set at an angle to the street grid. This particular two-bedroom on the third-floor has only been on the market since early May but has already had one price reduction. The layout is quite generous and there are lots of windows and light. Perhaps what’s been holding it back sales-wise is a certain lack of character–no moldings plus a Home Depot-esque kitchen. But it’s clean, in good shape and has two full-sized bedrooms, so the asking price of $649,000 doesn’t seem unreasonable.
