*Sniff*, kind of making me homesick.
I did not grow up in one of these “Archie Bunker specials” btw, I grew up a few blocks away in a nice brick row house, Montrose has seen it.
I know nothing about Marine Park, but for 175, I could learn to love it. The house probably needed a buttload of work on the inside, but that’s fine. People on this site just *love* to talk about pouring crazy amounts of $$$ into busted up brownstones to ‘bring them back to their former glory.’
WOW – that MP house sold for a ridicuously low price and it actually looks cute from the outside
Oh I love the Union Street building
The Park Slope broker is a frustrated songwriter:
“When you dream a Brooklyn dream, you dream of your own private Townhouse. When you dream a Brooklyn dream, you want a Townhouse-style life, but without the Townhouse-life headaches. When you dream a Brooklyn dream, you’re dreaming of this home…”
that marine place house would be considered a bungelow right? or are bungelows usually just one level? i think it’s sorta cute whatever it is.

I love the MP house. Exactly what I want. Small, cute, detached. Sigh.

To get anything for that price in a nice neighborhood in NYC should be a Godsend for many people.
