I’ve really never ventured north of Gates in bed stuy, except once when i volunteered at an elementary school on park ave near the marcy houses. just curious as to the “feel” of the street (i didn’t even know there was a Van Buren St to be honest)
Yes, although not recently, Dirty. In 2000 I moved from Williamsburg to Willoughby between Throop and Tomkins… this is a little down from that, closer to the A-train and Fulton. Which means, damn, I wish we could have bought that. Seems like a great price for that much house.

WT house no parking, brownstoner has wrong picture.
i’m surprised they sold in the brothel. the apartments were very poorly configured. the outside of the building is beautiful, but the inside is whack.

WT house is small but very nice with the curb appeal. PLUS PARKING!!!
Broker is right about WT house – it went quick. Great street, park block, great lot, smallish house (no finished basement, 2 small floors) but with some updating could be cute.
The picture of the windsor terrace house is incorrect. It it the brownish one next door behind the trees. Also, it went into contract in February, not April after one open house. Origingal ask was 759K. Pretty house, big lot, but needed updating.
