Our picks for open houses to check out this weekend are found in Bed Stuy and Sunset Park. They range in price from $1.582 million to $2.275 million.

In the Stuyvesant Heights Historic District, a bow-front brownstone on Decatur Street has four apartments over four stories. Designed in 1897 by Axel Hedman, the legal three-family has a pier mirror, moldings, mantels and wood floors. A pictured kitchen has been renovated, and the top floor has a washer/dryer. The house last changed hands in 2016 for $2.2 million.

On Halsey Street in the Bedford Historic District, an 1880 Neo-Grec brownstone has an amazing amount of well-preserved detail, including the original cast-iron range. A legal three-family, the house is set up as a two-family with a top-floor rental over a triplex. Features include fretwork, Eastlake hardware, wood floors, the original staircase, wainscoting, ceiling medallions, stained glass, plasterwork and mantels. It recently sold from the estate of a longtime owner to an LLC this year for $1.49 million.

In Sunset Park, an early 20th century row house has a mix of vintage features and recent updates. The pale stone house has a rounded stone front with carved ornament and original ironwork. Inside are three units with parquet, tin ceilings, decorative moldings, five-panel doors and at least one mantel. The kitchens and baths appear recently updated.

In the Sunset Park South Historic District, an 1894 Renaissance Revival limestone has a well-preserved exterior with a heavy cornice, carvings and incised detail, rough-faced brownstone trim and original ironwork. It appears to be an original two family, going by the floor plan, with a top-floor rental over a duplex. Much of the interior detail is missing, so it could be a good candidate for a renovation, including flipping the configuration. It’s been in the same family since at least the 1980s.
