This week, we’re looking back at how four of our featured listings from six months ago fared on the market.

This week, we’re looking back at how four of our featured listings from six months ago fared on the market.
First is a standalone five-bedroom house with a porch, at 82 Stratford Road in Prospect Park South. It is an Edwardian neo-Tudor rich with dark wood paneling and other Arts and Crafts details. Bought by an LLC in 2014, the house — which sits on a trapezoidal lot at the corner of Stratford Road and Church Avenue — is newly renovated and restored from top to bottom. This former House of the Day is now in contract.
Next is a two-bedroom Bed Stuy condo that is a real loft, and it feels like one too, with 12-foot ceilings and a vast living space. Some nice rustic wood details add warmth and character. It’s in a 10-unit building at 105 Lexington Avenue, a former factory that was converted in 2008. This Condo of the Day sold in November for $960,000, $61,000 above ask.
In Wallabout at 140 Clinton Avenue sits a house that is next to a former House of the Day — a temple-fronted Greek Revival — and the pair must offer a greater study in contrasts than any two side-by-side houses in Brooklyn. The Greek Revival dates back to 1835 and sports a quartet of Corinthian columns — this one is sleek, modern and brand new. This former House of the Day is still available.
A ways off in Fort Hamilton, at 219 Dahlgren Place, is a semi-detached brick house with a shared driveway and a two-car garage in the rear. It’s a one-family with three bedrooms on the second floor, a living room/dining room/kitchen on the ground floor, three bedrooms above, and a finished basement with a 3/4 bath and a laundry room below. This Open House Pick sold in February for ask at $875,000.
