The most popular listings on Brownstoner this week include a renovated Bed Stuy brownstone, a spacious co-op in Flatbush and a charming brick townhouse in Greenpoint.

Bed Stuy is popular this week, with multiple listings in the top 10. The least expensive of the group is a Flatbush co-op at $720,000 and the most expensive a Park Slope brownstone at $3.498 million.

Which would you choose?

10. This home is one of the highly coveted mews houses on Warren Place in the Cobble Hill Historic District. Need we say more? Actually, there’s not a whole lot more we can say based on photo evidence, but the listing tells us the 1878 house has been renovated within the last seven years, with new windows, a heating/cooling system, new mechanicals and upgraded electric and plumbing.

9. This Bed Stuy brownstone has been beautifully renovated, and not by a flipper, with restored original detail, new kitchens and baths and new mechanicals. A four-story with a fetching barrel-front facade and a rebuilt L-shaped stoop, it’s at 700 Putnam Avenue, between Lewis Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard. It’s a four-family with a unit on each floor.

8. Here’s a 1909 brick townhouse on one of Greenpoint’s best blocks, which has been nicely renovated and looks to be in top shape. It’s in the Greenpoint Historic District on Milton Street. This one fits right into the architectural splendor of the street, with its neo-Classical appointments: stone trim, front porch with Ionic columns and dentil molding, scrolled keystone lintels and a bracketed cornice.

7. This brownstone on Macdonough Street in Bed Stuy is a looker, combining original details with modern minimalism, though the latter is consistent in this case. It offers a garden rental with a triplex above, and the latter is quite a lovely space, described in the listing as “an acclaimed architect’s true labor of love.” In the detail division, there are marble mantels, a pier mirror and arched entrance doors.

6. In Park Slope is a two-bedroom co-op that’s gotten a swank, elegant overhaul by the design firm BHDM and stories in Architectural Digest and Lonny. It’s on the third floor of a self-managed, eight-unit brick building on Union Street, just off 5th Avenue. Masterminded by Dan Mazzarini, the former director of store design for Ralph Lauren, the revamp has a dramatic color scheme that’s heavy on black and white, and favors dark colors in the kitchen and bedrooms.

5. Here’s a darling co-op apartment in Flatbush that’s impressive for its spaciousness as well as its elegance. With two bedrooms, one-bath, more than 1,100 square feet of space and numerous original details, it’s located at 221 East 18th Street, not far from the Kings Theatre. Seven windows throughout afford a view only into the neighboring building’s apartments, but they appear to still keep the unit bright and airy.

4. This four-story brownstone is on Stuyvesant Avenue in Bed Stuy. It’s a three-family, with a pair of floor-through apartments over a lower duplex. There aren’t a lot of photos for this one, so overall condition is an open question, but what’s shown is in good shape, including a parlor floor with crown and wall moldings, pocket doors, dark wood floors and a brick fireplace. The listing says it was “very well maintained.”

3. This two-family brick house with a barrel front in Dyker Heights was built circa 1906 and has been in the same family for the past half-century. The long ownership shows in the retro wood-paneled kitchen, which is calling for an update. Other work is needed, which might well include turning the current two-family into a single residence and opening up the lower floor. Details include parquet floors, moldings and the original staircase and entrance doors.

2. Here’s a three-story brownstone on Hancock Street that’s been fully renovated, perhaps newly so. Most of the floors and the upper staircase are new, though at least one original parquet floor remains, and there are five original mantels; the pictured ones are tiled. A legal three-family, it’s set up as a two-family, with a duplex over a garden rental.

1. This Neo-Grec brownstone, built circa 1880, is on 9th Street in the Park Slope Historic District. A block and a half from Prospect Park, this one’s a two-family that looks to have been recently renovated and is in top condition. The floors are new, but there’s a decent amount of original detail, including six fireplaces (five operational), moldings, columns and shutters.
