This week we’re looking back at four listings we featured six months ago to see how they fared. Three of the properties sold for ask or above, while one of the properties is still on the market at a reduced price.

A former House of the Day, this three-story Park Slope brownstone with roomy gardens fore and aft is attractive and well kept, and sits on a nice block near the subway and Prospect Park. It’s got some nice details as well, including woodwork, plaster detailing and, most notably, four marble fireplace mantels in prime condition.

The property sold in April for $2.925 million, $130,000 over its $2.795 million ask.

Brownstones don’t get much bigger than this grand Italianate house at 118 Remsen Street in Brooklyn Heights, a former House of the Day. Twenty-five feet wide and five stories, it’s also uncommonly deep, with a 25-foot extension on the first two floors. It’s also got some prime details and a magnificent parlor floor, with towering, ornate ceilings, a carved mirrored mantle, arched entry doors, wall moldings and inlaid floors.

The stunner is still listed at a reduced price of $11.5 million, down $1.25 million from its initial $12.75 million ask.

Next, a bright one-bedroom co-op in Kensington, a former Co-op of the Day, has got some roomy living areas, a reasonable layout, a not-too-outrageous price, and a desirable location near the shops and restaurants on Cortelyou and not too far from Prospect Park. The single bedroom is large and has two exposures and decent closet space.

The unit sold in June for its $440,000 ask exactly.

Last up, a one-bedroom co-op at 205 Park Place in Prospect Heights. The former Listing of the Day has a lot of detail, including a decorative fireplace, approximately 10-foot ceilings, large windows, a shared back garden, and a shared roof deck. The living room has beautiful wood moldings and polished hardwood floors. The kitchen has been renovated with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, and lots of counter space.

The apartment sold in May for its $625,000 ask exactly.
