This week’s look back at four of our featured listings from six months has a few stunning houses, including the Pfizer Mansion in Clinton Hill. Elsewhere, the homes are located in Fiske Terrace, Cobble Hill and Gowanus.

Starting off this week in the Fiske Terrace portion of the Fiske Terrace-Midwood Historic District, this one-family standalone wood frame boasts a two-car garage and fabulous Arts and Crafts details. Located at 750 East 18th Street, it likely needs some work but just how much is an open question. This former House of the Day did not sell and is still on the market, but with a different broker and an asking price of $1.8 million, which is a decrease of $450,000.

Next, a rare two-bedroom condo at Alfred Tredway White’s historic Cobble Hill Towers in the Cobble Hill Historic District. Built by the housing reformer and philanthropist as model homes for the working poor in 1876-77, the distinctive 186-unit, nine-building red-brick complex at 140 Warren Street centers on common courtyards and has wrought iron ornamented balconies connecting the apartments. These were designed to bring fresh air and good health to the original residents. This former Condo of the Day sold in September for $860,000, which was $39,000 below the asking price.

After that, there’s This Queen Anne brownstone at 280 Washington Avenue in the Clinton Hill Historic District that’s not your everyday run-of-the-mill mansion. For starters, there’s the extravagance of its original architecture. Add to that a colorful history and stunning recent renovation. This former House of the Day remains on the market for the asking price of $13.5 million.

Then, in Gowanus, we have a nicely renovated brick townhouse that dates from the mid-19th century and was built in the Greek Revival-Italianate style. The three-story with finished basement has a number of cushy new features including recessed LED lighting, built-in sound system, central air, individually controlled radiators, a heated towel rack in the ensuite master bath, and insulation. This former Open House Pick did not sell and is currently off the market.
