This week, our look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, Bed Stuy and Boerum Hill. How did they fare?

First, this 17.5-foot-wide townhouse opens onto a sculptural blond oak staircase, delivering occupants up three stories to four bedrooms, an office or play space, and three full baths. A party wall between it and 98 Degraw Street next door separates two ground floor garages, with wood-slatted entrances placed on either side. This former House of the Day is still available at the reduced price of $3.995 million.

Located in a four-story, eight-unit walkup converted to co-ops in 1982, this compact third-floor two-bedroom at 656 Carroll Street with an above-average renovation may stir the hearts of parents eager for a Park Slope address and room to squeeze in a family for not much above $1 million (what passes for affordable these days). This former Co-op of the Day entered contract in May.

This quirky brownstone is on a row of fanciful 1880s Queen Anne/Romanesque Revival townhouses with pediments and projecting window bays. It’s on a scenic tree-lined block in an increasingly coveted section of Bed Stuy and has already been converted into a two-family home. This former House of the Day is currently off the market.

Last up, in Boerum Hill, a classic Italianate four-story, red brick townhouse with mansard roof and dormers is set up as a single-family and features four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a renovated kitchen that looks onto the garden. The details make it worth a look, including white marble mantels, original pocket doors and shutters, floor-to-ceiling windows and original pine plank flooring. This former Open House Pick entered contract in April.
