Our open houses this weekend hit four points on the Brooklyn map: Carroll Gardens, Crown Heights, Gowanus and Windsor Terrace. Some are recently renovated, and all appear to be in move-in condition, going by the listings. The prices start at $1.599 million and top out at $2.5 million.

First up, a four-story brick townhouse on 4th Place in Carroll Gardens, with both a front garden and a rear one that measures over 1,000 square feet. At 21 feet wide, the house has an apartment on each floor, so anyone looking for an owner’s duplex or triplex will have to create it. There are original wide-plank floors and some early-20th century arches and French doors.

Moving over to St. Marks Avenue in Crown Heights, we’ve got a two-story flip, renovated top to bottom. It’s got an open-plan living space on the ground floor, with a lot of exposed brick and a Bertazzoni range and some nice custom wood cabinetry in the kitchen. Upstairs are three bedrooms on top, including a master with a wood-burning fireplace and a high ceiling with exposed beams. There’s also a finished English basement with a laundry room and a full bath.

In Gowanus on 11th Street, between 3rd and 4th avenues, we’ve got a four-story house that’s on the diminutive side — 18 feet wide and around 30 feet deep. It’s divided into two duplexes; the lower one’s got two bedrooms, the upper has a single master that takes up a whole floor. This one’s renovated, perhaps freshly; there are a few decorative brick fireplaces.

We end on East 4th Street in Windsor Terrace, with a semi-detached, renovated brick house set up as a single-family residence. It’s got an large open-plan living space and three bedrooms on the top floor, including a master with a wall of closets and bay windows overlooking the street. There’s a finished basement (“rec room”) with a laundry room, and central A/C. There’s also a nice community garden next door.
