This week we’re looking at four of our featured listings from the dog days of summer to see how they fared.

Brooklyn homes don’t come any grander than this former House of the Day. If Louis XIV was looking for a property in Brooklyn right now he’d no doubt zero in on this place, one of the most distinguished houses on one of the borough’s most distinguished blocks, at 1305 Albemarle Road in Prospect Park South. It sold in January for $2.75 million, $238,000 below ask.

This one-bedroom co-op at 210 Congress Street in Cobble Hill isn’t particularly historic — it was designed in 1949 — but its environs are. It’s in Congress Gardens, the six-story brick apartment building across the street from the oh-so-quaint Cobble Hill Park. It’s one of few buildings in the landmarked district that wasn’t built in the 19th century. This Condo of the Day selection sold in October for ask.

Next, this seven-bedroom Bay Ridge home is big and beauteous, full of lovely detail and in wonderful condition. It’s at 237 77th Street, on a nice block with the R train fairly close at hand. This one’s got curb appeal to burn, with its columned wraparound porch, front garden, arched upper windows, and arched dormer window up top. A former House of the Day, it is no longer available as of January.

In Gerritsen Beach, we find a freestanding early 20th century single-family house with four bedrooms that looks to be well maintained. The master bedroom’s on the first floor, with three additional bedrooms above. The living room’s got a carpeted floor and a decorative mantel. The listing says the house is on a “double lot,” which seems just to mean that there’s a decent-sized yard in the back — it’s a fetching one, nicely landscaped with a pair of small trees. An Open House Pick, this home sold in November for $530,000 — $69,000 below ask.
