Prop-Shark-Sales-Map-0110.jpg
If you’re a real estate geek like us, you’ll get a kick out of the latest interactive map from the gurus over at Property Shark. They’ve plotted all of the sales in Brooklyn last year that topped $1 million in one handy place. Not surprisingly, many of them are clustered in the ritzier parts of Brownstone Brooklyn and along the Ocean Parkway corridor leading down towards Coney Island. Fun! Update: The map only includes single family homes, condo units, and coop units, so two-families and other types are missing.

  1. there is another single family house on my block that sold this year for $1.075 mil. that isn’t showing up either – think there are more data problems.

  3. The map is trying to show us that there are plenty of million dollar homes in Carroll Gardens and that anyone who is looking to buy should not hope to spend a penny less that a million dollars. Gotta keep the dream alive and just keep believing! Someone pass the weed!

  4. Very cool map. As Brownstoner noted it, unfortunately, doesn’t show 2 or more family properties that aren’t co-ops or condos. Would that make up for the data discrepancy?

  5. I dont think the data is right – almost nothing in Cobble Hill and Carrol Gardens???? and then in PS Only near the park and a couple in lower PS but nothing along 7th and 8th – doesnt seem right to me

  6. data data data.. so much yet so confusing…
