@ewsteed
who are we kidding…..kingston avenue in that part of crown heights looks like crap….who wants to walk to this building from the C train at 6 PM on a dark winter evening coming home from work….
Anyone looking to buy a 3bdr in this building for almost 400k would come out better buying a 2-3 family house in the same area.
Went to see this building (3-4 units) many weeks ago. The units are smallish. There is no elevator and the staircase is quite steep. The building appeared to have been renovated quite nicely, and was classic to begin with. I think the pricing is about right. The block is arranged as a sort of cul de sac. There are some decent blocks surrounding, but commuters would have to stroll several blocks up Kingston ave to the A/C. Lets just say its not scenic.
unfortunate curb appeal.
they couldn’t have added the extra floor above a nice new cornice?

But Snappy, are you surprised?
Snappy – when in doubt, check the brownstoner marketplace!
Mr. B, when you do these types of threads, it would be nice if you’d include a link to the website for the building sales, or at least the broker handling the sales. You’ve provided no real information here.
