58 North 3rd, a Williamsburg “boutique building” launched four rental units a few weeks ago. StreetEasy shows the one bedrooms asking for $2,500 a month and the two bedroom going for $4,000. This Corcoran listing for a three bedroom gives you some idea what the interiors look like. One of the more interesting parts of the development is the design across the front windows. You like?

  1. littlest – I wasn’t sure if anyone was in that building. MDIM definitely makes some of the most visually interesting buildings in the neighborhood (the other firm is Loading Dock 5; I think the two firms used to be partners but had a split a while back). I’m glad to hear that the interiors are as well thought out as the exteriors.

  2. I live in the MDIM building on Wythe and Metropolitan and I think MDIM is a really intelligent firm. The layouts and integration of the outside / inside space is wonderful in our building. I think the exterior of this building is nicely defined in the neighborhood, too!

  3. wow – the corcoran listing says its a “no smoking building”

that’s a great way to cut your potential williamsburg renter pool in half. what’s next – a building that doesn’t allow beards or organic produce?

based on the finishes and that little tid-bit i bet the developer wants to sell these babies at some point down the road. i’d be a little apprehensive

  4. cool wber – hopefully its something cool. some new retail opened up a couple of months ago in the wythe studios building. there’s this european general store called depanneur which is awesome
