When we passed by 275 Washington Avenue last week, we noticed that the trim on the majestic brownstone mansion had just been painted. This prompted us to check in on the sales progress of the four condo apartments. (As you may recall, when the fixer-upper failed to sell a couple of years ago, the owner decided to convert it himself. This is also the same guy who recently unloaded the two rear carriage houses that front on Hall Street.) According to StreetEasy, three out of the units are in contract; only one of the garden-level apartments remains. The asking price for the 1,270-square-foot pad is $845,000.

The outdoor space appears to be shared between the garden level apartment and the parlor floor apartment. An innovative use for a beautiful building. I hope he gets close to asking for the garden apartment.
based on the outcome, dude’s a genius. and Pratt?? nothing good to say on this transaction so I’ll zip it on them
Was on the 2nd floor and the floor plan is lovely, front is living, dining and master, the back was the other two bedrooms. Nice separation between parents/children/guests.
Lovely. If one has the budget for this kind of thing, one could certainly do a lot worse.
The floor plans are a little confusing–who gets the outdoor space?
