12,000-Square-Foot Lot with One-Family Home Sells in Jamaica Estates

The 12,000-square-foot property at 177-30 Wexford Terrace, off Edgerton Boulevard, recently hit public records for $1,875,000. There is a gorgeous detached home on the property (see a photo after the jump) but we’re afraid it may be demolished soon. An old listing markets this as a development site: “Last remaining large residential development site in Jamaica Estates, Queens!!! 120 x 100 corner lot, R7A zoning, 60,250 SF buildable (48,000 SF as-of-right + 12,250 SF air rights from adjacent lot).” The listing even mentions an opportunity to incorporate an underground commercial parking garage into a project for additional income. The property was initially asking $4,200,000, didn’t get anywhere close to that!
