New Dessert Vendor Moves into the Food Box

The Food Box, located on the ground floor of the Falchi Building in LIC, is welcoming a new food vendor. Made from Scratch, a baked goods company, will establish permanent digs there next week. The Made From Scratch shop will be open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm, and patrons will be able to purchase, taste, and pick up online orders. The company is known for its jarred cheesecake dessert (see a picture here) which comes in flavors like Butterfinger, peanut butter cup, strawberry, pineapple and Oreo. Baked from Scratch will join food vendors like The Kolache Co., Khao Man Gai NY, Jessey’s Pastries and Real Caribbean Food.
