From the QNYC mailbox - Hunters Point CSA update, core members needed

We received an update from the folks organizing the Hunters Point CSA – three short bullet points. Also, being a core member is a great thing! It’s a lot of fun and if you are interested in helping to provide more and better access to healthy food in your community, this could be just the thing for you. 

• We have a few options for a distribution site right now, all of which are near the Gantries, which should be good news for folks who were worried about accessibility.
• We are still looking for core organizing members! If you have CSA experience, or are just a generally nifty person who has a knack for community outreach, finance, web design or volunteer coordinating, please get in touch!
• Our first core organizer meeting will take place [tonight] at 7pm. Email Susan at hunterspointcsa@gmail.com if you would like to attend. If you can’t make it but want to be in the loop as a core member, please email us!
