We’ve caught wind of new luxury condo building in LIC, Five27, thanks to the Modern Spaces folks (who also happen to be the exclusive sales and marketing team). As we know, they are very effective in this respect and have enjoyed much success (hello, L Haus). This building will be located at 5-27 51st Avenue in Long Island City (GMAP), house 27 units in four floors, and was designed by architecture and interior design firm Fogarty Finger. It will be developed by Shuster Development, a local Long Island City developer who has built several luxury buildings in the neighborhood, including The Badge (GMAP), Ten63 Jackson (GMAP) and One Murray Park (GMAP).

There will be one-, and two-bedroom residences available, ranging from 490 to 1368 square feet with prices starting at $395,000.

Eric Benaim, CEO and President of Modern Spaces, says, “Five27 will be coming on the market at a perfect time and will provide buyers not only with an amazing value and quality but its location will offer an incredibly culture-rich and diverse neighborhood that will resonate with buyers looking to purchase in Long Island City.”

Some of the elements of this new development include: loft-style brick exteriors (red brick façade), large windows, white-oak flooring with white-wash finish, stainless steel appliances, and spa-like master and guest baths with Kohler fixtures. Additional amenities will include a beautifully landscaped rooftop, an on-site cold storage room, cutting-edge fitness center, resident lounge, bike storage, and a parking garage for residents.

Sales are scheduled to launch in early April.
