40-markwood-place-sale-forest-hills-gardens

Just yesterday we noted the three most expensive properties on the market in Forest Hills, in our Market Snapshot of the neighborhood. Well, it turns out one of them isn’t for sale anymore. 40 Markwood Place, the most expensive residential property previously on the Forest Hills market, just popped up on public records for $2,320,000. The 6,000-square-foot property first hit the market this June for $3,300,000. The ask dropped to $2,985,000 in July and entered contract soon after. The old listing notes that this home boasts the third largest floor plan in Forest Hills Gardens. Check out a few interior shots after the jump! Forest Hills Gardens is no stranger to big-ticket sales: A Tudor-style home at 24 Underwood Road sold in September for $2,750,000. GMAP
