Macedonia-Plaza
The city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development is now accepting applications for 142 affordable rental units at a new development called Macedonia Plaza. The building is currently under construction at 36-08 Union Street at Northern Boulevard. It’s part of the city’s New Housing Marketplace Plan, a project created to encourage the development of subsidized housing and preserve existing units. The development will include 6,287 square feet of retail space and 2,767 square feet of community space. Apartments range from studios to three-bedrooms with rents from $500 to $1,196 a month.   1. I have mailed a request for application twice, enclosed a self-addressed envelope as instructed in the flyer, but I still have not received the application form in the mail. Please advise. If it can be emailed, please email me the application.
