The city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development is now accepting applications for 142 affordable rental units at a new development called Macedonia Plaza. The building is currently under construction at 36-08 Union Street at Northern Boulevard. It’s part of the city’s New Housing Marketplace Plan, a project created to encourage the development of subsidized housing and preserve existing units. The development will include 6,287 square feet of retail space and 2,767 square feet of community space. Apartments range from studios to three-bedrooms with rents from $500 to $1,196 a month. I just spoke with a representative at Winn residential and they still have “NO OFFICIAL” move in date!

The building has no parking but there’s plenty of municipal city parking around the corner from the complex.
Any one know if the building have parking ?
I paid my deposit a few months ago & finally saw my 1 bedroom apartment about 2 weeks ago. Was also told that the signing of the lease & move in date should be mid to late September. Congrats to all!

heard the move in date is middle of september.
Has anyone moved in yet? What is the current status of this building. Last I heard it was suppose to be ready in late July or early August 2014.
