Talk, laugh, repeat. That’s the way it has always been for Carol Burnett, a six-time Emmy Award-winning actress and author who spearheaded an eponymous comedy TV show for 11 years. In fact, she’s talked and laughed her way to a Presidential Medal of Freedom, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and an induction into the Television Hall of Fame over a seemingly eternal career.

On May 8, Burnett, who is now in her 80s, will bring her hilarious banter to a Queens stage, where she’ll reflect on her life and reveal some behind-the-scenes secrets. She’ll be spontaneous, intimate, and (of course) funny. Plus, she’ll respond to audience questions and maybe even revive some old routines in a format that grew out of the question-and-answer sessions with her studio audience on The Carol Burnett Show.

Details: Laughter and Reflection with Carol Burnett, Colden Auditorium at Queens College, 65-30 Kissena Boulevard, Flushing, May 8, 8 pm, $39 – $85.
