Astoria Beer & Brew Soft Opened on 21st Street

Astoria Beer & Brew is now open at 21-76 21st Street, off Ditmars Boulevard. The owners (also behind Bistro 33 next door) have a pretty interesting concept, outlined by We Heart Astoria: “A new beer bar that will take home brew recipes and make them for customers.” The Beer & Brew website states: “Boutique bar. Homebrew store. They are one in the same at Astoria Beer and Brew.” Sweet! Currently, the spot is only selling home brewing equipment, the bar portion will open once the business gets its liquor license. Astoria Beer & Brew will eventually host home brewing classes, tastings, and other events. For this week, the space is open from noon until 8pm.
