Screening of Insurgentes – Celebrate the culture of Bolivia during the Hispanic Heritage Month 2012 at the Queens Museum of Art (GMAP) this Thursday at 6pm. Insurgentes is an activist film that follows two centuries of popular uprisings in Bolivia. A Q&A about the film will follow immediately after the screening. Admission to the QMA + screening is free!

Viernes de Salud / Fitness Fridays in Corona Plaza – Enjoy the new public space at Corona Plaza (GMAP) with a Zumba fitness party! Bring the whole family for a dance-fitness party complemented by healthy offerings at the Corona Greenmarket. Zumba Party is from 11am-12pm and the Greenmarket is open from 8am-5pm. The party is good for all ages, and is free.

Fall Foliage Photography with the Urban Park Rangers – This Saturday, the explore the Flushing Meadows Corona Park with your camera! The Urban Park Rangers will host a free fall foliage photography walk on Saturday. Meet them at the Unisphere (GMAP) at 1pm. Shutterbugs of all levels are welcome.

Little Makers: Paper Making – Get messy with creativity! Kids learn to make handmade paper with fall foliage at the New York Hall of Science this Sunday. This workshop is open to kids of all ages and will guarantee hours of learning fun. It starts at 10:30am and costs $8 per family + NYSCI Admission.
