Though it only opened in May, the BBQ joint Lookout Hill at 230 5th Avenue in Park Slope has turned off its smokers, according to a tipster. The space has seen quite a bit of turnover in the last few years, with Biscuit and Night and Day not lasting too long, either. Isn’t this supposed to be restaurant row? N.B. 1. “If there are too many boutiques and too many restaurants, then what does Fifth Avenue need?”

A movie theater, a bowling alley, a video arcade, a cafe that stays open super late, GOOD Indian as someone said, another GOOD vintage/thrift store specializing in furniture, (Beacons Closet is moving from their current location across from here, 6 blocks north into a space twice the size on November 1, fyi), or a Beard Papa.

  2. We tried this restuarant as huge BBQ fans. The food was really bad. Served cold. No vibe at all in the place. I still think we could use another really good mexican restuarant in Park Slope. I can’t really name on that is great. Marias=good food, terrible terrible service. Pyramide=Awesome food, way overpriced, terrible decor (But great food, great service). Santa Fe=consistently mediocre, but again, consistent.
