5th Avenue’s “This is Not a Toilet” building may finally be in its end days. The DOB’s given the structure’s owner the go ahead to put it out of its misery. (The city disapproved an initial filing to replace it.) Rat poison signs were recently posted on the building’s exterior, the typical prelude to the wrecking ball.

  1. I’m not really sure how most of those arts and media jobs are contributing to society, to be honest. One could make an argument that the residents of Park Slope contributed more when policemen and teachers could actually afford to live there.

  2. well put flatbushwhacker.im so sick of these(silver spoon in the mouth)yuppies thinking their money makes them better than other people.it makes me feel so good everytime i hear about one of these “creative types” getting robbed and smacked up on the streets of BK.hope it happends more often.
