Judge Dismisses Gorilla Coffee Suit

Fucked in Park Slope brings word that a judge dismissed the defamation lawsuit that Gorilla Coffee brought against former employees and The New York Times. The suit followed a bunch of Gorilla employees quitting en masse last April over an allegedly “hostile” work environment and the Times’ reporting on the matter. FiPS has snippets of a press release in which a former employee and defendant in the lawsuit is quoted as saying that the dismissal sends “a message to coffee workers and all workers that you can stand up for your rights.”
