A few tips have come in regarding the Regency Carts building, the low white structure at 337 Carroll Street in Gowanus, above. It is directly next door to the Hell Building at 333 Carroll Street. Word is that the Regency Carts building has sold to Sterling Equities, although a sale has not yet appeared on public records. And although there are no recent permits filed with the DOB, a tipster says that “plans are for a five-story residential complex — most likely condos.” As for the Hell Building, it is still under construction since the developers took down the steel skeleton a few years back. Another tipster heard from a local real estate agent that those units will go rental. Have any more details? Send us those tips…

  1. I haven’t heard anything about the Hell Building going rental but the selling agent was Aguayo & Huebener. I have no idea if they are still involved but I would think they are. Maybe ask them.
