Domino's Hits Myrtle Avenue
A new Domino’s pizza has occupied what the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership folks say has been a vacant storefront for a long, long time, at 328 Myrtle Avenue between Carlton and Washington Park. They’re hoping Domino’s interest will attract other new businesses to the block, too. GMAP

and just to keep on topic…
I think we can all agree that you don’t order Domino’s when you want Pizza. Same as you don’t order McDonald’s when you want a burger.
When you crave a big Mac you don’t want a juicy homemade from the Bar-B-Que burger- you want a big Mac. Same is true for Domino’s it’s fast food and a specific craving.
Now if I could convincing my friends in the south that Dominos, Papa John’s and CiCi’s are not really “pizza” I’d be making some serious progress!
Ah, got it. Thnx.
The pot pies sound delish, enjoy.
THL….no, Les halles does not have prime rib. I’ve only gone to the one on Park….but I was talking about the steak tartare there, which is the best in the city.
THL….i don’t do prime rib at home because it is never as good as at a restaurant. Stick with the Wellingtons.
I’m doing lobster pot pies.
Darn you Dave for bringing this up…I bought a whole Filet Mignon yesterday to make individual Beef Wellington’s for Christmas dinner but now I want to change it and make Prime Rib!
I used to work over there on 52nd & 3rd back in 2005(?) so sometimes we’d go for lunch.
Which Les Halles? The one on 28th and Park or on John? I go to the one on John, never ordered the Prime Rib but now I’ll make it a point to.
Haven’t had any in Brooklyn worth mentioning. Not bad mind you, just none I’d recommend.
NO, biff, that was unintentional!
Did Cobble figure out yesterday’s twist of words from me? Did you? I doubt anyone can.
There was another one, yesterday, regarding your lunch…let’s see if you’re that smart….or anybody for that matter.
Oh, I thought you meant the part about staying on top (versus on topic)…
Ok, done…see y’all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on Monday.
That was unintentional? I thought for sure it was on purpose.
“I was Outback once. It was Okay, I’m into places like that.”
Meant to say, I’m NOT into places like that.
