Eviction of Broken Angel Artist Set for March 15

Broken Angel creator and former owner, 81-year-old artist Arthur Wood, is still living in the Clinton Hill building, which has no heat and few interior walls. He’s scheduled to be evicted March 15, The New York Daily News reported. Wood is suing Madison Realty Capital over a $4 million loan and development project for the property, which led to the foreclosure. It’s possible the state appeals court could halt the eviction plans. As we reported last week, the property is for sale for $4,500,000.
