True to the rumors from tipsters a few months back, the Regency Carts building at 337 Carroll Street in Gowanus sold to Sterling Equities. The sale just hit public records for $12.5 million. Back then, we heard that plans for the one-story building included a five-story residential complex that would likely end up condos. The new developers have not yet filed plans with the DOB, though. This building is right next door to the Hell Building at 333 Carroll Street, which is rumored to be a rental development once the drama-filled conversion is finished.
