Boerum Place 2 Bedroom [Corcoran]
What IS the status on the house of D? I’ve read so much contradictory information about its future: Doubling in size, ground floor retail, condos, mixed use, demo etc. etc…
one commonly voiced concern is the department of corrections plan to double the size of the house of detention. the problem isn’t so much the inmates, but their visitors as well as the corrections staff themselves.
I live across the street. My place is big (1500 sq feet) and has tons of light (high floor). Traffic noise is not usually a problem (we have big windows — two at 52×96 in the master bedroom) so it’s not really quiet but very city-like. Love the convenience of the neighborhood and it is completely safe.
I would argue it’s in Downtown Brooklyn; bounded by Court to the West and Atlantic to the South. What do people think about living on Boreum Place?
I think the 2 bedrooms there were $599K in offering plan — $100K in 2 years/17% increase.
Still sold for $812/ft.
not really boreum hill either — more like downtown.
Whoops. Meant 2.5 months, not 2/5 months.
duh
